Myeong-Dong
Reputedly the hippiest location in Seoul, Myeong Dong features vehicle traffic free walking streets and avenues featuring hole in the wall restaurants and trinket shops to high street fashion. Friday afternoon crowd here makes this place the throbbing centre of the city of trendy fashionistas.
Did you happen to go at night as well? Lots of great photo ops, especially street. If Seoul weren’t so expensive (especially the hotels!), I would go more often.

Hi Ray, I did visit several places for night photography but somehow did not “see” good photo ops. But then again it could be because I am crowd adverse. Yes, Seoul is as bad as Singapore in terms of cost of a visit – if not worse. The food though is reasonably affordable for the quality. Much better than Singapore in my opinion. But everything else is as you say, pricey.
