On the return voyage from the Middle East tour of duty, the USS John C Stennis docked in Singapore and permitted visitors to tour around hangar and flight deck. Here is a video collage of the images taken on that visit.

The assistance of a handler is key and the purpose of this shot is to capture the wonderful facial expression of this Jack Russel that has a permanent upturned right ear. Very much in character with “His Master’s Voice” music label logo. Shot with EOS 5D2 and the 85mm f1.2 at f10 with Elinchrom’s Deep Throat Diffuser from above. Background is a white diffuser also lit with a strobe fired wirelessly.
